Husqvarna Automower® 450X NERA with wire free technology is a robotic lawn mower that can handle complex lawns up to 7500 m². A wire free installation offers complete flexibility with precise virtual boundaries, enabled by satellite-based technology via the EPOS™ Plug-in. This also means there is no risk of wire breakage.

Tailor the lawn to your needs by creating multiple work areas with different settings via the Automower® Connect app. Just as easily, temporary stay-out zones can be created to preserve seasonal wildflowers or garden project areas. Choose between a smooth-looking or patterned finish on your lawn with systematic mowing. The selectable mowing patterns feature enables you to choose a visual pattern of your choice, such as stripes, checkerboard or triangles, as the mower runs in parallel lines, increasing area capacity to 7500 m². Or, for a carpet-like finish, choose the irregular pattern mode, which gives a 5000 m² area capacity. Precise mowing is achieved with a reduced risk of impact and unplanned stops due to the sensors on the mower which detect and avoid obstacles.

Stay in control by monitoring your mower from anywhere in the world and integrate it with your smart home via the Automower® Connect app. Send commands, create and adjust your installation and zones, view and change your mower settings and receive notifications for complete lawn control.

In order to have the boundary wire free solution you need a Husqvarna Automower® 450X NERA robotic mower and a Husqvarna EPOS™ Plug-in, which needs to be attached to the mower as part of the installation process. The correction data for the satellite technology is provided via the Husqvarna Cloud at no additional cost. If you do not have cellular or Wi-Fi coverage across your full lawn area then you will need to purchase the EPOS™ RS1 Reference Station. The Automower® Connect app is also required to create a virtual installation.
